The supernatant was assayed separately with an ELISA kit (HengYuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd, Shanghai, China). Carotenoid components were measured using highperformance liquid chromatography, and total carotenoid and flavonoid contents were determined using a UV-1800 spectrophotometer.
